I scraped up every cent I had in the house and went to the drug store next door to buy vitamin D. The price went up. It was €10 for two hundred 1000 iu tablets (very poor quality, only available). The price I am quoted this morning is €14. I don’t have enough money. I return home and find some money in a bank account. I transfer $30 to my credit card. I return to the drug store. Now the vitamin D costs €16. The pharmacist tells me to get a prescription for good quality, 20,000 iu. In America, you can buy top quality vitamin D at the grocery store. Health and human freedom is systemically prevented in Germany. Not having money makes it worse.
